Can Wildlife Hunting Cameras Capture Cold-Blooded Animals?

----Shenzhen MHC has developed an infrared camera monitoring system that can photograph cold-blooded animals.

· Custom Outdoor Electronic Products

More and more nature reserves are deploying infrared monitoring cameras to capture various animals. These infrared trail cameras are essential tools for monitoring biodiversity and aiding in wildlife protection efforts.

It has been reported that wildlife game cameras have captured cobras moving in their natural state within nature reserves. Snakes, including king cobras, are cold-blooded animals. They typically appear when temperatures are high, from late spring to mid-autumn. During the rest of the year, they generally hibernate, although a few individuals may occasionally appear during warmer winter days.

Since snakes are cold-blooded, their body temperature varies with the ambient temperature. This raises the question of how such temperature-dependent animals can trigger infrared hunting cameras. Infrared hunting trail cameras are designed to detect warm-blooded animals by sensing their body heat.

Experts explain that the video of the snake was captured at 12:14 PM, a time when the sunlight in the forest was relatively bright and the temperature was high. It is speculated that the increase in ambient temperature may have been enough to trigger the night vision hunting camera. Additionally, it is possible that the presence of other warm-blooded animals nearby could have triggered the thermal camera hunting as the snake passed by.

However, Shenzhen MHC has developed an 4g solar hunting trail camera system,a kind of wildlife monitoring system that can photograph cold-blooded animals. The system has an original cold-blooded animal monitoring function and is used with a dedicated solar panel and white light fill light. The night viewing range can reach 30 meters, and it can also shoot high-definition color videos and photos. At present, this game trail camera system has been put into use in domestic cooperative nature reserves.

The cold-blooded animal infrared hunting camera monitoring system sets hunting cameras in the corresponding forest layers according to the habits of the target species, which can increase the species discovery rate and play a greater role in fully grasping the diversity of wild animals in the regional forest ecosystem.
